Rochelle Tardif – Barn Manager

I became heavily interesting in horses when I was about 5yrs old. I started riding lessons a couple years later at the age of 7. My knowledge and experience came from living at a friend’s farm where I rode almost every day and helped breed and train miniature horses.  At the age of 15 I started working as a stable hand at an English barn East of Regina, SK and fell in love with English jumping. I started working and taking lessons there for the next year when I started assisting starting horses under saddle. My passion for horses only grew stronger at this point. In 2012 I decided to pursue my dreams of a career in the industry and enrolled at Olds College. Two years later I graduated with a Diploma in Equine Science majoring in English Horsemanship.

After college I spent 2 years training horses at a barn North of Regina. My knowledge and love for horses increased with each day. I passionately believe that in this industry you never stop learning and that it is a gift that horses give us. I endorse a natural and holistic approach to the care of horses. I believe that horses thrive when they are allowed to just be horses in as natural an environment as possible. I strive to see a natural and happy lifestyle for our beloved 4 legged friends!

I have now been living and working at DMC Stables since 2016 and enjoying every minute of it with my beautiful amazing partner Jim and our son Wyatt.
